Smart people need to take their brains very very seriously

“One of the reasons I gave up my high paying , cushy corporate job was so I could emulate the lifestyles of these gurus of mine like Tony Buzan, Anthony Robbins, Marshall Goldsmith , Jack Canfield, Edward de Bono, BKS Iyengar et al”
“I think I have succeeded in making millions of people understand that their intuition is double edged sword & reading & attending seminars is a must – no matter how smart you are or how accomplished or senior you are”

Dharmendra Rai explodes its vision about Mind mapping with our Chief Editor Anand Gijare

1. Pls. share something about you
I think I am a stupid person who is smart enough to realise that he is stupid ! Research again & again shows how limited our brain really is . People who are thought of as super intelligent are not as smart as they think, e.g. Newton lost money in the South Sea Bubble . Steven Spielberg lost money to Bernie Madoff . Amitabh Bachchan went bankrupt – the list is endless . Till my last breath I want to understand as much as I can about how the brain functions in terms of learning , memory , creativity , influence , intelligence, productivity & a few other things . For more details please see my biography http://mindmapstrainer.com/
2. Why MindMap
Roger Sperry won a Nobel Prize for proving whole brain thinking in 1981 . After that hundreds of books were written, bought , read , understood, memorised but NEVER implemented !
Why ?
Because there was no simple & fun way to use the whole brain until mind maps came along. Today mind maps are so popular that Google yields 724 MILLION search results for mind map ! A mind map is a thinking tool that makes doing anything easier whether it is drawing a Trillion Dollar business strategy by a Fortune 500 company or mastering a nursery rhyme by a 6 year old .
One of the greatest benefits of mind maps is better creativity . Creativity is a must today because all routine jobs will be eaten up by machines . It is amazing how billions of people including country & company heads have not got the memo . Creativity is a difficult process because we are hard wired to make patterns so we can learn to do something without conscious awareness E g think of the first time you tried to drive a car .
It was a terrible time ! You felt that you would NEVER learn You wondered how other people can do something so complex like having a 360 degree understanding of who is around you , use your hands carefully , juggle with your feet on the pedals et al However when you drive a car for the 100 th time most processes happen automatically .
That is because the brain makes patterns so things become automatic For creativity you have to push your brain out of its rut . That is why it is very difficult, needs tools & a lot of hard work . Tools like mind maps have proved to be a huge boost
3. You are trained by some of the most successful international coaches, how it made a difference in you
One of the reasons I gave up my high paying , cushy corporate job was so I could emulate the lifestyles of these gurus of mine like Tony Buzan, Anthony Robbins, Marshall Goldsmith , Jack Canfield, Edward de Bono, BKS Iyengar et al
Here is what living their kind of life involves
a ) Very hard work because there is no paycheque coming in every month
b ) Lot of emphasis on learning , reading & attending seminars
c ) Excellent remuneration once established
d ) Control over one’s time leading to better relationships , better mental & physical health
e ) Never retiring . Working till your last day
What more can a person desire ?
4. What are the three things you can change in an individual and in a corporate team
Most people are too busy to understand what skills are going to make a huge difference in their lives & how to acquire those sills
I think I am able to impress upon smart people that they need to take their brains very very seriously & give them practical tips to get benefits IMMEDIATELY after the seminar
I think I have succeeded in making millions of people understand that their intuition is double edged sword & reading & attending seminars is a must – no matter how smart you are or how accomplished or senior you are
5. What new is coming that my readers should look at?
